The group founded by Peter Weddle just 4 years ago has steadily grown through boom and bust to become a significant factor in elevating the conversation about this corner of our industry.

Trade shows and conferences are where our industry goes to get in touch with itself. In the past you could learn something about your colleagues by which of the big three corporate focused recruiting conferences they were likely to attend. Some folks would only go to ERE, or only go to Kennedy, or only go to OnRec.

The Employment Manager is sponsor for an attitude. He is the champion of a condition of mind. Among others, he must have one ideal that never sinks to the common level. That is open-mindedness; a quality very necessary for the administration of common justice and an object which the Employment Manager must not only preach, but practice with undiminished enthusiasm throughout his existence.
