The Recruitment Genome Project

Welcome to the Recruitment Genome Project

The human genome project was one of the most ambitious scientific investigations in the history of modern science.  Started in 1990, the project sought to identify every gene of the human genome and understand its function.  The mapping of human genes and their function has led to a greater understanding of human health and cures for various illnesses.  Before the human genome project was begun, doctors were often forced to guess at the source of a particular illness and its cure.  Doctors now have more information than ever about how genetics impact human health, and better tools for curing illness as a result of the project.

The human genome project is a profound testament to the scientific process.  Once again, science has proven that a dedicated approach to observation and analysis can uncover cause-and-effect relationships that change prevailing views and shift paradigms.  Surely, if a group of dedicated scientists can make sense of 25,000 genes and how they impact human health, then a group of dedicated recruitment experts can make sense of a comparatively small group of recruitment initiatives and how they impact recruitment excellence.

Every day, companies waste millions of dollars on recruitment initiatives because they haven’t decoded the recruitment genome.  They engage in various activities (such as sourcing, job board advertising and employment branding campaigns) with no firm understanding of which initiatives are successful and which are not.  It’s not their fault; no one has tried to decode the recruitment genome in earnest – until now.

Arbita is pleased that you have chosen to participate in the Recruitment Genome Project.  The goal of this research project is to identify all the building blocks of the world’s most successful recruitment programs – including frequently overlooked elements such as recruitment training and education.  In 2009, Arbita will publish a detailed report based on our findings.  But our research will continue for years.

The 2009 Recruitment Genome Project report will delineate the top recruitment best practices shared by leading companies who successfully reach their recruitment goals year in and year out.   The report will also provide guidance on determining the recruitment mix that is best for your company.

By participating in the Recruitment Genome Project, you will receive a complimentary copy of our final analysis as well as frequent updates along the way.  Participation is easy – for now, you need only complete a short survey.  The survey will take fewer than 15 minutes of your time, and you will receive updates and reports on the project as our research unfolds.

We’re happy that you’ve decided to participate in this exciting research project.  Click the link below to get started.
