Arbita Introduces Consulting and Education Group at ERE Expo 2008 Fall
Arbita Consulting and Education Services (ACES) led by Shally Steckerl and Glenn Gutmacher

Minneapolis, MN – October 28, 2008 –Arbita, a provider of recruitment marketing technology, media and services, introduced their new consulting and education group at ERE Expo 2008 Fall today. Arbita Consulting and Education Services (ACES) is led by Shally Steckerl and Glenn Gutmacher, two of the most respected authorities on prospect and candidate sourcing. ACES provides a range of consulting services aimed at helping companies connect with the best talent on the Internet. The consulting group will operate independently of the technology and media groups, allowing ACES to deliver consulting and education services beyond the existing Arbita customer base.

"ACES is exponentially more valuable to companies than JobMachine or Arbita were alone," said Shally Steckerl, executive vice president, Arbita.  "Our combined services allow us to approach recruitment excellence from more directions resulting in a holistic solution for our clients.  It's not just about the recruiters and the sourcers.  And it's not just about the overall recruitment marketing process and infrastructure or the employment brand.  It's about all those things working together.  ACES is the first glimpse of what the recruitment marketing and consulting agency of the future is going to look like."

ACES empowers companies to align their recruitment marketing initiatives with their staffing goals and business objectives. Recruiter and sourcer development is the cornerstone of the ACES methodology based on the company's belief that dynamic and continuously-educated recruiters and sourcers are the foundation and primary drivers of successful recruitment marketing initiatives. The group's education programs are supported by a medley of consulting services designed to help companies streamline their recruitment process, bolster their recruitment marketing infrastructure, improve their sourcing efforts including organizational structure, strategy and tactics,  and continuously improve their interactive recruitment marketing campaigns from search engine optimization (SEO) and marketing (SEM) to job board advertising and beyond.  Examples of the education and consulting services provided by ACES include:

  • Recruiter and Sourcer Development: Steckerl and Gutmacher deliver seminars, workshops, webinars, and presentations to Internet and phone sources and recruiters of all levels
  • Recruitment Knowledgebase: books, DVDs, cheat sheets and other supplemental learning products.
  • Recruitment Marketing Process Consulting - The ACES group helps companies create a blueprint for aligning their recruitment marketing process with their staffing goals and business objectives.
  • Employment Branding - ACES helps companies see the world from the candidate's perspective, and build employment brands that engage the right talent.
  • Interactive Campaign Development - Strategic consulting, design and development of an effective recruitment marketing portfolio, from SEO / SEM to job board advertising and everything in between and beyond.
  • Career Web Sites - ACES can build new career web sites or tune existing sites for maximum performance.

All consulting and education services are delivered with an eye on the bottom line. ACES leverages a deep understanding of sourcing strategy and effectiveness along with  recruitment marketing analytics to recommend and implement organizational structure, sourcing strategies and methodologies, combined with recruitment marketing initiatives that have a measurable impact on business goals. The ACES methodology is an extension of Arbita's core belief that every client deserves a partner with their best interests at heart. Because ACES operates independently of Arbita's technology and media groups, clients need not be users of the company's job posting technology or media services.

ACES was made possible in part by the merger earlier this year of Arbita and Steckerl's JobMachine. The merger brought Steckerl and Gutmacher to Arbita and, combined with consulting services already provided by Arbita, resulted in the platform for a unique consulting and education group. Steckerl, who was JobMachine’s founder and "Chief CyberSleuth,” has emerged as one of the most respected authorities on sourcing and reaches tens of thousands of recruiters on a regular basis through his popular seminars, onsite workshops and webinars. Gutmacher is a leading innovator in online sourcing and brings more than decade of experience as a consultant and recruiter development expert. He has raised the sourcing skill level of thousands of industry professionals in his many public and private live seminars and webinars. Gutmacher is also a prolific writer for recruiting trade publications, portals and his own highly-regarded blog, Advanced Online Recruiting Techniques.

“After have attended several webinars and in-class sessions, I wanted to bring Job Machine to TiVo this year.," said William Uranga, Staffing Director , TiVo.  "Shally started us off with a two day session, packed with new concepts, up-to-date stats and great, practical tactics and tips. We’re already seeing effectiveness and productivity increase. Soon we'll be having our follow up webinar sessions for reinforcement. Shally's approach to recruiting is holistic and he is always looking for the root of an opportunity or challenge. His sense of humor, natural curiosity and systematic approach to things keep him on top of his craft and classified, in my opinion, as a recruiting "treasure."

“Shally is one of only a handful of innovative recruiters who have truly added to the Internet sourcing 'body-of-knowledge'", said Gerry Crispin, SPHR co-author, Careerxroads.  "Listening to this founder of JobMachine as he teaches 'CyberSleuthing' techniques, I always find myself totally engaged by his enthusiasm, energy, knowledge and skill.”

HR and staffing professionals will have the opportunity to speak with Shally Steckerl and Glenn Gutmacher at ERE Expo Fall in Hollywood Beach, Florida, October 28-30, 2008.
